We were the first company to start mass produce fraternity & sorority flags nearly a decade ago. We're a leader in fraternity & sorority flags because we offer the most organizations and the most designs. Fast forward to today, fraternity flags are one of the top 5 items that a new fraternity member wants when they join a fraternity. Sorority flags are one of the top 10 items that a new sorority member wants when they join a sorority.
Each flag measures 3' tall by 5' wide and weights around 4 ounces. Flags are made of polyester material and have two grommets. Every flag that you receive as a retailer is packaged in retail packaging (see the picture in the listing). On the outside of the packaging is a picture of what flag is inside, so that way your customers are not opening each flag to see what's inside. The size of the packaging (with the flag inside of it) is 11.5" tall by 8.5" wide.
Some people ask us what's the difference between a "chapter" flag and a "letter" flag. A chapter flag is a flag design that is given to us by the national fraternity. Sororities do not have chapter flags, only fraternities. Chapter flags is the flag that all of the fraternity members recognize because its usually the flag that flies over their house and is at ritual events. A letter flag features the greek letters of the fraternity or sorority in a color scheme that matches their organizations colors. Letter flags are available for fraternities and sororities.
What's the purpose of flags? Flags serve many purposes including but not limited to: hanging in the college students rooms as a poster (most popular), bringing to greek week events, philanthropy events, rush, fraternity/sorority events, gifts for alumni who donate money to individual chapters, etc.
How many should you carry in your store? We suggest carrying both chapter and letter flags for the fraternities and the letter flags for the sororities. We've found most of our stores carry a ratio of 2 chapter flags for every 1 letter flag.
